Charles C. Caswell

U.S. Veteran

Charles C. Caswell, age 90, died Monday evening, May 21, 2012 in the Northwestern Medical Center. He was born January 17, 1922, in St. Albans, son of the late Cecil and Ella (Noel) Caswell. He served his country in the U.S. Army during World War II. He worked most of his life as a Lift Truck Mechanic for the Ford Motor Company retiring in 1980. He married Barbara M. Turner. Mrs. Caswell predeceased him in 1972. In 1980, he married Barbara A. Towes. She predeceased him in 1998. Charles was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons Franklin Lodge #4, and the United Autoworkers Union.

Charles is survived by his 2 children Linda Huici and her husband Bob of Charlotte Hall, MD, and son Chic Caswell and his wife Patti of Clifton Park, NY, 9 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, a brother Fay Caswell of Florida, brother-in-law Gordon Raine, several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his parents, his wives, a sister Leona, and brother Earl.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, May 25, 2012 at 2:00 P.M. in the Brady & Levesque Funeral Chapel. Interment will follow in the Caswell family lot in Greenwood Cemetery. Friends may call at the Brady & Levesque Funeral Home, 86 South Main St., from 7 to 9 P.M. Thursday evening.
